Thinking of Trying CDB?

CBD is one of the cannabinoids found in a cannabis plant. Unlike THC, it doesn’t have any intoxicating effects as it’s the non-psychoactive part of the plant, so you won’t “get high”. There have been studies to show evidence that the benefits of taking CBD treats health concerns such as pain relief, epilepsy, inflammation, acne, insomnia, anxiety and depression, headaches, nausea and even preventing cancer or lessening side effects of chemotherapy. It is a natural and more sustainable alternative to other medication. It is not legal in every country or all US states, so you will have to check before using.

In the UK it is legal, so I have used CBD to try and relieve symptoms of anxiety. It calms the nervous system and reduces the ‘fight or flight’ response, which is what causes rapid heart rate, heavy breathing, tense muscles, tight chest, sweating, trembling and other undesirable feelings. I used CBD oil, by dropping it under my tongue and swallowing a minute later, but I prefer capsules as they’re quicker and less distasteful. There are many different ways of taking CBD. It can be taken orally, externally (on the skin) or by inhaling. There are also different doses, usually ranging from 20 and 1,500 milligrams a day, depending on body weight, how you’re taking it and the condition that you’re treating. It is recommended to start with a small dosage and gradually increase. Possible side effects are fatigue, diarrhoea and changes in appetite and/or weight, so it’s important to keep track of your dosage and potentially consult a doctor.
